ConsultingCo had built many PowerPoint slides to support their different business units. These included case studies, sales assets, and detailed templates. These assets, stored in SharePoint, were accessible to all employees.

However, they needed help to achieve adherence and compliance. Finding content in SharePoint took too much work, and staff would find other ways to access content, leading to old slide versions used in client presentations.

In addition, they needed analytics for better visibility into slide usage to drive content investments.

The Solution

ConsultingCo implemented TeamSlide to build a slide library and give employees instant access to their critical slides – all from within PowerPoint.

TeamSlide was connected to the relevant folders in SharePoint, allowing SharePoint to remain the single source of truth. In addition, ConsultingCo implemented single sign-on and silently rolled out the TeamSlide PowerPoint add-in to all employees.

TeamSlide’s Board feature was configured to separate templates from other asset types, helping direct users to content based on their use case.

TeamSlide also provided business support, sharing best practices on content management acquired from working with other organizations.

Easy Access

Every slide is now accessible from inside PowerPoint using the add-in.  Users can search, browse, see thumbnails, and insert with a click.

Templates

Rather than flipping through many large decks, Templates are organized in categories and accessed in just a few clicks

Updates

All slide updates in SharePoint automatically apply to the slide library and become available to all users.

Visibility

Detailed usage data gives ConsultingCo clear visibility into the PowerPoint slide library usage. For example, they can determine the most commonly used slides and understand how different geographic regions consume content.
