Version control allows your team to keep their PowerPoint presentations on-brand and up-to-date all the time. Wherever they keep their decks, you can rest assured that your team’s presentations will never have stale slides.
As TeamSlide syncs with your content management system (e.g., SharePoint, OneDrive, Box), it automatically determines which slides are new, deleted, and updated. Then, while working on your presentation, if TeamSlide finds you are using an older version of a slide, you’ll be notified and given the option to update to the latest version.

Let’s take a detailed look at how TeamSlide’s automated version control works in three simple steps:
1. Insert
When you use TeamSlide to insert a slide, it places an internal stamp on the slide or image, allowing us to check for new versions in the future. The stamp will enable TeamSlide to trace the slide back to the source.
Also, this method allows your team to keep the presentations they build using TeamSlide wherever they want. They don’t need to live within TeamSlide’s purview.
2. Check
TeamSlide automatically uses the internal stamp to check for slide updates every time the presentation is opened or when version control is run manually. If TeamSlide sees that a newer slide version is available, a notification will appear!
3. Update
With a click, TeamSlide updates out-of-date slides by pulling in the latest version synced from your CMS. TeamSlide also provides other options, including insert a copy to compare and skip this update.
